Here's a photographic journey into my fun of preserving pumpkins!
First, wash and halve pumpkin.
Scrape out the fibers until clean.
Don't forget to save the seeds!
Cut into 1 inch size slices
Cut off outer peeling
Cube and cover with water. Boil until soft.
Then puree the well drained, tender pumpkin!
I freeze mine in 4 cup portion sizes. Now onto making healthy, delicious pumpkin recipes!
